I set up my business Emilie pique & coud in 2019, located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge in Saint Hymer. A self-taught seamstress, I started sewing 10 years ago. I love fashion and interior design. I sew according to my desires and the fabrics I find.
Designing is my passion, and I often choose a fabric because I've got a crush on it, and then my head starts to race with ideas. Often I'll create a child's towel, for example, and use the rest of the fabric to make an apron. As part of my zero waste approach, I try to use my fabrics as much as possible.
